I was at Target yesterday and I wanted to pick up my first pack of 2009 cards, but, lo and behold, they were all out. So I settled for a couple packs of 2009 cards, which I'll be ripping and posting up here in the next couple of days. Here's the first:

Anyone that's ever read this blog could probably guess that I'd really like this set. And I do. Not as much as Turkey Red or even Heritage, but I think it's a cool set. I'm not a huge fan of the Jeter says...or Griffey says...at the bottom of the card, but oh well. You take the good with the bad.
Hi, I just opened my first box of Goudey 08 this past weekend and I really like the cards. It was a great box, 3 big hits, a Guthrie auto, Daisuke patch and a 33 Goudey buyback Alvin Crowder!
ReplyDeleteI got my self a small box of goudy 08' for about 20 bucks; 8 packs a box.. and i really dig the cards. Your right though, those turkey reds and heritage are sweet cards.
